Gurgle Talking

Alisa started what I call "gurgle talking" today. Ever since she woke up this morning, she's been making new sounds and movements with her tongue. She has discovered the "guh" sound and her speech has sounded gurgly (slobbery in the throat rather than on the lips) today. She was chatting away this morning like she was telling me a story. I had no idea what she was talking about but I was fascinated. She wasn't doing the usual repetitive da-da, ma-ma, ba-ba, na-na sounds. Pretty soon she might say "doggie" since she's added g's to her repertoire and she loves dogs and is always around Minga.
