First Steps!

Alisa took her first unassisted steps tonight! We were sitting on the floor at the weekly Bible study and she was playing with toys on the floor. She stopped playing and began practicing standing up without holding onto anything--she loves quickly pushing herself up from a squatting position to a standing position. Moments later, she was taking a few steps while holding onto Craig's fingers. THEN he let go of her hands and held a ball just out of her reach and she took a couple of steps to get the ball. Exciting! We didn't jump up and down to celebrate though because it was in the middle of the meeting and it was a serious discussion. We just cheered in whispers, smiled real big and hugged Alisa.
