Alisa wanted to get in the big pool first so we did that for awhile. She played in the water on the steps for a little bit but then wanted to go deeper so I helped her float around. She became really fussy and wiggly after awhile and kept screaming out in frustration. She played on the steps again but then kept changing her mind on what she wanted to do. Everyone ate lunch and then Alisa was fine. She didn't eat a lot but it was enough to get some energy. She had a blast playing with the other moms in the big pool. Then, the 3 baby girls got in the kiddie pools while the 3 baby boys were in the big pool and then got out and played in the grass.
By the end of the 3 hours, all the kids were fussy and tired. Alisa fell asleep in the car minutes after we left. I clipped her toenails at home before taking her out of the car because she was sound asleep and it's so hard to clip those tiny nails when she's awake and wiggling. She woke up when I got her out of the car, but quickly fell back asleep in her crib and has been asleep for 3 hours. I hung up our wet suits and towels to try and then took a nap for an hour. It is really tiring keeping up with Alisa at a pool because you have to watch her so carefully and hold her all the time in the big pool.
