Row, Row, Row Your Boat

Alisa loves the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". It was most apparent Monday when she was flipping through the pages of her "Nursery Songs" book illustrated by Tracey Moroney. It has short versions of the songs "The Wheels on the Bus", "Old MacDonald Had a Farm", "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", and "The Hokey Pokey". Whenever she turned the page, I'd sing the song that went with it. She kept turning to the 3 pages that had the bears rowing their boat down the stream. She also held her hands up in the air and made a waving motion with them (aiming her hands downward though) and said "woah" or "oh" which seemed like she was trying to say "row" because she said it only at the beginning of the song.

Today she actually tried to say "row, row, row" 3 times in a row as she moved her arms in a rowing fashion (different from the earlier waving motion). So, in just a few days she has improved on her attempt at singing and her arm motions.

Turning to "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" page (6-13-08):

Motioning for me to sing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" (6-13-08):
