Today it was finally sunny so we set up Alisa's pool and let her loose. She kept slipping and falling in the water because she was moving around quickly and didn't realize it would be slippery when wet. She had gotten used to playing in it dry in the living room. She didn't cry when she went underwater though...she just hopped back up (with a little help) and kept playing. I will take some water out of it so it's not as deep next time and then when she slips she won't go all the way under. It will be more like the level of her bath water and I won't have to be on high alert ready to scoop her up every few minutes when she goes under (that is tiring).
Alisa saw the pool outside and couldn't wait to get in it:
Alisa has 2 hand-me-down swimsuits (and bikini and a one-piece)--this was the first time I put the one-piece on her and discovered it is too small (see how low cut it is?) so I took it off after I got a few pictures of her in it:
