Ketchup Crazy Kid

Alisa dipped french fries in ketchup for the 1st time tonight (she rarely gets fries). We ate dinner at 1 Fresh Stir Fry (one of our favorite local restaurants that just opened up a 3rd location closer to our house). They were having a combo special for the 1st time so I got that (stir-fry wrap, fries and a drink). I usually just get the stir-fry bowl because the wraps are so messy with all that sauce dripping and they usually fall apart near the end. Anyway, I shared my fries with Craig and Alisa (they recently added fries to the menu so we had never had them there before). Alisa saw us dipping our fries in the ketchup and she motioned that she wanted to do it too. We let her go at it and she loved it. She would dip a fry and lick off the ketchup and then dip & lick again and again till the fry was so soggy. She had a few more fries (dipped many many many times each) and then Craig told her "no more". She would have dipped until the ketchup was gone if we had let her, but it was a lot of ketchup for even Craig or I so it was way too much for Alisa. She cried really hard because she desperately wanted more. I wiped her off and we left. She had stopped crying once we let her out of the highchair to walk around.
