Alisa's First Pumpkin Patch

We took Alisa to the pumpkin patch for the first time and she loved it. She just recently started seeing pumpkins around town and was so excited to see so many pumpkins in one place. Her attempt at saying "pumpkin" sounds like "baboo." The patch we went to is at a local church and they have games, an inflatable bouncy castle, pony rides, food and live music there on Saturdays.

Alisa did not cooperate with our attempts at getting happy pictures of her with each of us so we didn't attempt to get a family shot. She did NOT want to sit still on our laps because she was having too much fun running around. I've posted the best shots I got of her with each of us. I want to take her to the patch again soon because she loved it so much and we need a big pumpkin for Craig and I, so maybe I can get a good picture then.

Here is part of the patch (it was empty by the time we left around 5:30 PM):

Alisa kept trying to pick up the large pumpkins (she grunted as she tried and seemed puzzled that she couldn't do it):

We told Alisa to sit on a pumpkin so we could get a picture. From that point on, she went around sitting all as many pumpkins as she could:

We showed Alisa where the small pumpkins were and she was happy to be able to pick them up. Here is the first one she picked and the one we bought for her (75 cents):

She spent a lot of time moving the squash from this pile to a box that was next to the pile (she was very upset when we told her she had to stop because it was time to go):
