Alisa doesn't like it when I close my eyes and pretend to be sleeping. She says "Mama...mama...mama!" in a worried tone when I do that. As soon as I open my eyes she's fine.
Today, I took Alisa upstairs for her nap but after reading her some books I layed down on the guest bed to rest for a minute. She crawled over, climbed on me and layed down. I put my head back, closed my eyes and we snuggled. After a minute, I lifted my head to look at her and she lifted her head to look at me. She then put her hand on my chest and pushed so I'd lie back down. I laughed, put my head back down and closed my eyes. After a minute of her constantly shifting to get comfortable, I lifted my head again. She lifted hers to look at me and we both laughed. Then she pushed me back down again, this time with her hand on my chin. This went on and on for a long time. Sometimes I started chuckling before I lifted my head and she started laughing then too. It was so much fun laughing with each other over and over and over again!
That is the only time she has not gotten worried when my eyes were shut. It was apparent that she wanted to nap with me, but I couldn't do that (I sure wanted to though!). I needed to leave soon for an appointment at the gym and she needed to sleep in her crib to get a nice, long, uninterrupted nap.
