Sharing Easter window clings:
After the Easter goodies, we ate breakfast, went to the lake, came home for lunch and then went to the city wide Easter egg hunt at Myers Park. The egg hunt was disappointing because it lasted only about 2 minutes (because of the crowds) and the eggs were hardboiled (instead of plastic). I'd heard that there were really good prizes in the eggs previous years (restaurant gift cards) so I thought all the eggs would be plastic (especially for the youngest kids who don't know to be gentle with real eggs!). Anyway, because the eggs were real, a bunch of them were smashed all over the 1-2 year olds hunting area and the kids kept trying to pick them up. Gross! We didn't find any plastic eggs (the only ones that had prizes) but I ran into a friend whose daughter found two so she gave Alisa one. So sweet! It was a slip of paper that we exchanged at the table for a small stuffed teddy bear. All dressed up and walking to the hunt from our distant parking spot:
