Eating Flowers

One of Alisa's current favorite pastimes is to pretend to eat flowers. She says, "Oooo, flowers! I want to eat them!" and then pretends to pick them from her clothes and books and eat them. So far she doesn't try to eat real flowers. She loves picking real flowers though so we have to watch and catch her before she picks a nicely planted one (especially the ones for sale at a nursery!). We let her pick the little wildflowers in our yard or at the park. One day I came home and Alisa brought me a beautiful bunch of flowers she and Daddy had picked in the yard while I was away. She was so excited to give them to me. It was precious.
