Great Happiness

Alisa's name means "great happiness" and let me say that is so appropriate. She certainly brings us great happiness and she is a happy little girl! This morning she woke up at 6:30 AM and sang her heart out until 8:30 AM when Craig went upstairs to get her. It was very amusing, even though it meant I got less sleep than usual (I was not able to go back to sleep once I heard her). She sang a lot at the end of breakfast too and didn't want to get out of her highchair as soon as she was finished eating (she wanted to sit there and sing). She really loves to sing and it's so precious. She even makes up her own songs, usually with the words "mommy" and "daddy" in them. I really couldn't have imagined a better child!
