Jungle Pool

This summer, I decided not to pull out the large, inflatable pool we used last year so I went and bought Alisa a new, smaller pool (one that would be easier to drain, since draining every day or two is necessary to keep the pool from getting slimy since we aren't using chlorine). We'll use the bigger pool when she is older and needs more room to swim around.

Here is a cool jungle pool I found where you can attach the hose to a tube that runs to the center of the leaves at the top and will create rain in the pool as the water falls through the tiny holes in the top of the canopy:

Giving Minga a drink of water from a bucket (they both love this!):

Unfortunately, the jungle pool was not designed well enough. The tree canopy kept leaning to one side and it only got worse. I put more air in it, tried it without the leaves on top and even tied the culprit side to the balcony overhead but it still just wouldn't stay upright well enough (and that was without the hose tube on top for the rain effect). So, I returned it to the store once it was all clean and dry. Stay tuned for the next small pool!
