Alisa's First Time Camping

Alisa enjoyed her first camping trip, which just happened to be to our favorite campground (Lincoln Gulch) just outside of Aspen, Colorado. We camped for 3 nights with my entire immediate family, so Alisa had 7 cousins to play with. She loved getting dirty, collecting rocks, eating toasted marshmallows by the campfire, climbing on large rocks, picking flowers, throwing rocks in the river and walking in the freezing river (she cried when we told her she had to get out because her feet were so red and cold). She spent a lot of time with her cousin Daniel.

Alisa got to sleep on our new air mattress in our new tent for naptimes (at night she slept in the tent on a bunch of blankets next to the air mattress):
