Trip to Tulsa

We spent about 2 weeks in Oklahoma visiting family and friends. The weeks were divided by a 2-week trip to Colorado with family (click here for photos from that). We didn't want to drive straight from Florida to Colorado for our big family reunion so we stopped in Tulsa before continuing on and then stopped again afterwards to break up the drive again and to visit longer with family and friends. Alisa did really well in the car and didn't protest when we were buckling her back into her seat after a pit stop (nice change from the last time we took a long road trip). I did get a bit of a sore neck from constantly twisting around to give Alisa more snacks and books, but at least she was happy and entertained herself a lot.

We got a huge hotel room with king-size bed for a special rate of $59 (it had a sitting area with couch, table & rocking chair, a desk with wireless internet, a mini fridge and microwave, a pool and hot tub):
