TV Watching

Alisa asks at some point every day now, "Mommy, can I watch a show?" She's been asking specifically for Curious George a lot lately (instead of her beloved Backyardigans!). She's even surprised me many times recently by asking if she could turn off the TV--even in the middle of a show she's watching!! Sometimes she will then play quietly and other times she'll ask for music so she can dance. I've finally allowed her use the remote control to turn off the TV and she really likes that. She mostly watches the shows on PBS Kids (Curious George, Sesame Street, It's a Big Big World, WordWorld, Sid the Science Kid, Between the Lions, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and SUPER WHY!) and then a few on Nick Jr (The Backyardigans and Wonder Pets).
