Concerned About Happiness

Alisa is very concerned about the happiness of herself, others, animals and even her stuffed animals. She will often state that she is happy or not happy. When she is not happy she now says, "I'm not happy, Mommy. MAKE me happy!" If she hears a baby or child crying she always asks, "Why is he/she crying?" She shows concern when animals or even cartoon animals (like ones on the show Curious George) are sad. With her stuffed animals, a good example is when we leave one in the car while we go to library story time she will say, "Oh, Bow-Wow is so sad. He's alone. But he will be so happy to see us!"
