Talking to the Baby

Alisa has known that there is a baby in my belly for a long time but today was the first time she got to feel him kick. After she had her hand on my belly for a bit I said she could talk to him (she's talked to him before). She didn't talk right away so I said she could say something like, "Hi, this is Alisa. I'm your big sister." She said that and then started saying her own things. She talked about how she'd share her toys with him and oh I was so pleased! Then, we talked about all the things they could do together. Alisa mentioned going to the playground, going down the slide and taking naps together. Precious!
