Alisa's First Time to Pee in Big Potty with No Topper

Alisa peed in the big potty today with no kiddie toilet topper and no help! I was getting something downstairs and I heard the upstairs toilet lid go up or down (couldn't tell which). By the time I got upstairs, Alisa was dancing around fully clothed saying she peed in the potty and she didn't need the bird (the toilet topper kinda looks like a bird face). She had moved her stool over in front of the toilet and climbed up there by herself and held herself up so she wouldn't fall in. I was so surprised and proud! Now she can do it all and SHE was the one who initiated the big potty stuff. Hooray! We can use any toilet without any trouble so I won't have to bring a kiddie toilet topper when out in public because she's not afraid to hold herself up. I will continue to bring the disposable seat covers though, because I don't like the idea of her holding onto the edge of an exposed public toilet--germs!
