Go

For the first time ever, Alisa told me to leave her room when she was falling asleep at bedtime. We were snuggling with her music on and the lights off as usual and she suddenly said, "Go." I asked if she said go and if she meant she wanted me to leave because I couldn't believe my ears. She nodded and said, "Go" again. So, I left. It was unbelievable. I wasn't hurt by it at all since I was unable to lie down and snuggle with her as usual because my heartburn was so bad. It was as if she was saying, "Go ahead, Mom. I've got this. I'm okay. You can leave now."
