Now SHE pretends to be baby Ryan. She does a fake baby cry and wants me to give her a sippy cup and pretend it's a bottle or to pretend to change her diaper. The fake baby cry actually gets on my nerves because she's been doing it so much and then she talks in a high voice telling me she's baby Ryan and needs this or that. And of course she usually does it at times when I can't pretend along with her because I'm on the phone for work or something (obviously she's doing it for attention most of the time).
Today I was working from my laptop in the living room (as usual) and Alisa was in the kitchen. She exclaimed, "I'm baby Ryan!" I said, "Oh?" because I wasn't sure what she was doing since I couldn't see her and since she doesn't pretend to be Ryan in the kitchen because he's hardly in there. She said "I spit up on my chin!" She had let chocolate milk dribble out of her mouth, down her chin and onto her shirt as she watched in the little mirror on the fridge (my old locker mirror). I had to laugh but also inwardly groan for fear she'd repeat the act another time and keep making messes. Still, she gets points for cleverness.
