Bow-Wow Reborn

Here's the update on Bow-Wow who was ruined last month when he was left out in the rain (click here for that story)....We decided to bring him back (or rather give her the new one and tell her it was the same one back from the special cleaners). She could definitely tell that he was different (hair was fluffy--not matted down--and he didn't smell like her anymore). After I gave him to her I realized I hadn't cut the tags off. I took him away as soon as I realized it and cut the tags off out of her sight, thankful that she hadn't noticed them (she had asked Craig to cut the tags off of old Bow-Wow so I know she would have noticed them had she held him longer). Whew! Though I guess I could have told her that the special cleaners put the tags back on and that we could cut them off again.

Alisa was actually shy when welcoming Bow-Wow home (I didn't expect that at all):





Alisa is no longer attached to Bow-Wow. She still likes him (the clean one) but doesn't have to take him everywhere and sleep with him every night anymore. She is back to sleeping with Hopple (the big pink bunny) and drags her around more though. Poor Bow-Wow. But then again, at least she isn't hopelessly attached to him anymore. She no longer has to bring him in the car (and we don't allow her to bring Hopple in the car because she's too large).
