Washing Her Hands
Alisa washes her hands every chance she gets but still asks for permission before doing it. She asks, "Do I have to wash my hands because I touched my bottom?" (after going potty). She can wash them all by herself when in the upstairs bathroom with her stool. She turns on the water to wet her hands, turns it off and squirts the soap on her hand, rubs her hands together and then turns the water back on to rinse. Then she gets the towel to dry her hands. Much easier than me having to lift and hold her up so she can wash! And I'm glad she turns the water off while rubbing her hands together (I didn't teach her that but it saves water).

Yes I love a kid that washes hands! Hayden loves to do it too and when I say "hey go wash your hands" she says "why, what did I touch?" :)
