Play Table

Every few months we get some more toys for Alisa based on her age (3 months, 6 months, 9 months, etc). I mostly get ideas for new toys when Alisa is at playgroups and at Benjamin's house. This week Alisa got to play with some play/discovery tables and she really liked them. I decided it would be good to get her one to play with in the office while I'm working since she often abandons her toys and goes exploring (mostly under our desks where the computer cords hang!).

We chose the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Table that was recommended by a couple of moms. Alisa played with it at Benjamin's house and was so excited to see it at our house 4 days later that she nearly pushed herself out of my arms to get to it. She REALLY likes it. It teaches numbers, colors, first words and the alphabet and plays various songs and sounds depending on the setting.

Alisa played with the box while I assembled the table (just had to snap on the legs):

She leans on the table quite a bit and it doesn't fall over (whew!):

She really loves the red rattle spoon that detaches from the table:

Sometimes she kneels at the table:
