4 Molars!

It's official--all 4 of her 1st year molars have cut through the gums! I got a good look at them after lunch today. I'm thinking that the bottom 2 cut through just yesterday because Alisa had a rough morning. Usually she's happy when I get her up and we play with the stuffed animals on the guest bed in her room for awhile (either before or after I change her). Yesterday, however, she did NOT want me to lay her down to be changed and did NOT want to play on the bed. She was throwing a fit like she did many many months ago (in the fall, I think) where it was hard to understand what she wanted. She was clinging to me yet pushing away from me at the same time. She'd squirm to get out of my arms yet cry and be so mad if I put her down. I managed to change her diaper and get her dressed all while she was screaming. I took her downstairs and asked if she wanted to eat breakfast and she said no (it's great that she can say "no" when she doesn't want something or nod yes or sign "more" when she does want something). I went to the fridge and took out a teething ring and she happily chomped on it. We sat in the chair and cuddled for maybe 10 minutes while she chomped on the teething ring and then she was fine and got down to play.
