Havana's Annual Pumpkin Festival

We went to the annual pumpkin festival in Havana (town 25 minutes north). Several streets were blocked off for the event. There were food vendors, tents set up for craft vendors and non-profit organizations, a hayride, pony rides, and a kiddie train ride.

Alisa can't say "pumpkin" yet. Her word for pumpkin is "baboo". It's so cute to hear her excitedly repeating "baboo baboo baboo"!

The pumpkin patch was very small, but Alisa loves pumpkins so she liked it. She did not want to leave a particular section of the patch. It wasn't very different from other sections, but every time I moved her out of it so other families could take pictures there, she cried and raced back over there as soon as I put her down. She enjoyed watching a fly buzz around the pumpkins at one point--she excitedly waved her arms, smiled and said "buzz buzz buzz".

Here she is in her favorite section:

Alisa loved the balloon animal the clown made for her but she started to cry when the clown talked to her (seems like most young kids are afraid of clowns):
