Alisa's fever is gone so she won't need tests--hooray! I am SOOOOO relieved! She is still not her happy, chatty self yet and I miss her terribly. 5 days is a long time to go without seeing her happy and normal...without hearing her laugh. And her voice has been a sleepy/raspy voice all week (like how many of us sound in the morning). I miss her normal voice too. It's quite strange. Last night I found myself watching happy videos of her taken before she got a fever and I got all teary eyed.
She frequently lets out some whining cries so I think her ear infections must be bothering her, though she doesn't rub or tug at her ears at all. Her nose is only occasionally runny and she has not had a crusty nose or eyes in the morning so that's good.
