Pretending to Cook

During the past few days, Alisa has been pretending to cook a lot. I gave her some measuring cups and kid measuring spoons many months ago. Grandmom gave her some fake food and drinks for Christmas, which included a little milk carton. She can now say "milk" so she says it frequently while pretending to pour milk into a bowl. Then she puts the bowl in the toaster oven (which is stored on the kitchen island shelf she keeps her measuring cups on) and pretends to push buttons while saying "beep beep beep".

I really want to get her a play kitchen but we don't really have room for it in this house. Most of them are made for ages 3 and up anyway, so I'll wait until we move (maybe later this year).

She is too cute. And no, you may not move.
