Vocabulary

Alisa can say just about anything these days. Her vocabulary and conversation amazes us daily. She says things like, "I'm figuring this out" and more. She loves to talk about how when the sun goes down it will be nighttime. And when the sun comes up it will be daytime and that daytime is playtime.

Here are some amusing things she frequently says:

"I need to read one minute."

"I want to play li'l bit"

"Where's the duster? I need to dust the TV."

"Mommy, I'm happy! Are you happy?"

"I'm going to work, Mommy. I'll be back in a li'l bit."

"I HAVE to cry!"

"Where's my Hello Kitty bag? I'm going shopping!"

"Do you want a sip of apple juice?"

"Good morning, Minga! Minga, I love you!"

"We don't eat flies! Frogs eat flies. We eat food!"

"Eat the skin, Mommy. It's good for you!" (while eating an apple)

"I just want to spin. I just want to fall down."

"You're not going bye-bye?" when she senses that one of us is leaving and she wants to make sure it's not me.

"Mommy's home!" when I walk in the front door. And then, "Are you home, Mommy?" when I walk into the living room because she's checking to see if I'm staying home for awhile.
