Alisa has been surprising me by thanking me for things like washing the dishes. She phrases it like, "Mommy, thank you to wash the dishes." Some other things she's said lately are "Mommy, thank you to give me some juice" and "Thank you to read a book for me."
Her "to" really means "for" because it's something I've already done, not something I'm about to do. And actually, in that last example she totally mixed up both the "to" and "for." She's so sweet and cute!
